The travel agency business: Facts and fiction
Amadeus and Tour Hebdo have carried out a wide-ranging survey to investigate the motivations of French travel agents – their reasons for choosing to work in the travel trade, their current situation and future expectations. A compilation of responses from actual travel agents, the survey provides an accurate picture of the workings of an extremely interesting yet often little-known profession.

11h30-12h30  IFTM Top Resa talk 8 in partnership with Tour Hebdo

The top French travel agency networks
Tour Hebdo has drawn up a detailed classification of the top 30 French travel agency networks. This overview of the agency network scene provides insights into a number of developments – the profitability of these networks, their geographic spread, the percentage of online sales etc. Competition on the network market is tougher than ever before, at regional as well as national level.

A sociologist and some travel managers will discuss the results – which as always are eagerly awaited.
